Devotional Service (bhakti-yoga) is Simple and Sublime

Every day I preform some simple devotional service, that somehow gives me great pleasure. Its such a little thing really, I refill Srila Prabhupadas water cup on our home altar. It is a tiny cup really, not a big service, but I relish this simple task.

My favorite verse from the Bhagavad-gita, and also the first verse I memorized was:

patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ
yo me bhaktyā prayacchati
tad ahaṁ bhakty-upahṛtam
aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ
