Born in America, Madhudvisa prabhu (Michael Morrissey) received first and second initiation from His Divine Grace in 1968, taking first initiation in San Francisco, and second in Los Angeles.
In 1972, Srila Prabhupada personally requested that Madhudvisa to become a GBC man. He served Srila Prabhupada in the U.S., India, Australasia, and elsewhere.
